Trip to Showstopper Dance Championships was An Exciting One
Spring, TX - July 08, 2009 - In Mid America Finals last weekend, Koenig School of Dance competed against dozens of dance studios from around the country and area for prestigious top honors at Showstopper National Finals, the largest Dance Competition in the Country. Their entries placed as follows:
Something's Gotta Give received 3rd Place overall in the Mini Completive Division. Congratulations to the National Champions! Dancers Included: Maddie O, Shelby C, Emily S, Caelin B, and Madison L; Directed By Kristin Sharp.
Congratulations to Emily S. for placing 6th overall with her solo Silence and Maddie O. for placing 10th overall with her solo Angel. Madison L, Shelby C, Caelin B, Abbigail E, Jessica F, and Karen L also received top honors with Platinum and Gold Awards.
Congratulations to Megan McQuay for being accepted into the Houston Ballet Academy's Summer Intensive

Megan along with hundreds of others from Houston auditioned on Valentines to day to hopefully be selected into the Summer Intensive. This is a very prestigious honor and opportunity and we are very proud of her accomplishment and wish her the best of luck this summer!Recital 2009 - "Living the Dream"

This year’s recital will be held at Klein Collins High School on June 13th.
Costume fees are due November 1st.
