Kristin is the Owner and Studio Director of the Koenig School of Dance, and has taught dance classes for more than seven years. She began studying ballet, tap dance and jazz at the age of three, and has danced under the tutelage of Joee Shapiro and Rebecca Vincent. During high school she continued to study dance, becoming a nationally titled Jersey Village Gold Duster, under the direction of Betty Buchner.
Angela Holmes teaches at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and throughout the Houston area. She has performed with Theatre Under the Stars in "It's a Wonderful Life" and also with J & D Entertainment. Her award winning choreography has been recognized nationally. Angela became a certified Peak Pilates instructor in 2006. She graduated magna cum laude and outstanding senior in the School of Dance from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance. She is a graduate of the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts with dance honors. She has studied dance at Alvin Ailey, School of Pennsylvania Ballet, The Juilliard School, Broadway Theatre Project, and the Limon Institute.
In September 2006 Mr. d’Alton relocated to Houston TX and opened International Ballet of Houston, which is an elite program dedicated to training and coaching young dancers aspiring toward a professional career in dance. International Ballet of Houston is currently housed at Koenig Dance School in Spring, TX. In the past three years, Mr. d'Alton's dancers have received offers and contracts from over thirteen professional ballet companies in the United States and Canada including Sarasota Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Louisville Ballet, BalletMet Columbus, Ballet Florida, Ballet Austin II, Ballet Memphis, Atlanta Festival Ballet and Ballet de Printemps. In January 2007 Mr. d’Alton was named Permanent Faculty member for the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, a professional repertory company where he regularly teaches ballet classes. In September 2008 he joined the Adjunct Faculty of San Jacinto College South's Dance Department. Mr. d'Alton is also a Guest Teacher for Brindusa-Moore Dance Academy in Pocatello, Idaho, and for Central Ballet School and Theatre in Greenville, Tennessee. In 2008 he had the honor of coaching two of his dancers who were Semi-Finalists at the 5th Rudolf Nureyev International Ballet Competition in Budapest, Hungary. He also had two dancers selected to compete at the 23rd International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria. This year one of his female dancers was one of only three American girls to represent the USA at the 37th Prix de Lausanne in Switzerland. In June 2009 two of Mr. d'Alton's dancers competed at the 6th International Ballet Competition in Helsinki, Finland.
Mr. d'Alton is an internationally sought after teacher and has been honored to be invited to guest teach at some of the world's most prestigious Companies and Schools including the Wiener Stattsoper (Vienna State Opera Ballet School, 2009), Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet (2009), Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet School (2009), and Den Norske Opera and Ballett (The Norwegian National Opera Ballet School, 2009).
Born in Dublin, Ireland, Ms. d’Alton commenced dance classes at the age of three, working her way through the Royal Academy of Dancing Syllabus, training to a professional dance career. In 1972, Ms. d’Alton joined the Irish National Ballet and portrayed many great roles in ballets such as Pas de Quatre, Yerma, and all the great full length classical ballets. She worked with artists such as Anton Dolin, Hans Brenna, and Joan Denise Moriarty. She retired from the stage in 1979 after the birth of her son Richard. From 1987-1989, Ms. d’Alton co-directed the Irish Theatre Ballet, Dublin, Ireland.
After moving to Texas in 1989, Ms. d’Alton assumed Co-Directorship of South Texas Dance & Gymnastics and was the Vice President of South Texas Dance Theatre until 2003, when she became President of McAllen City Ballet (formerly South Texas Dance Theatre). In 1996. Ms. d’Alton was elected to the Dance Panel for the Texas Commission of the Arts. Ms. d’Alton's strong commitment and leadership enabled McAllen City Ballet to produce its most successful performance season before its closure in December 2003. In addition to her community involvement with IMAS, McAllen Chamber of Commerce and the Valley Symphony Orchestra, she has had students accepted to some of the best dance programs in the United States such as American Ballet Theatre, Kirov Academy, Bolshoi Ballet Academy (US), Texas Ballet Theater, Houston Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Washington Ballet, Ballet Austin, Walnut Hill, and Miami City Ballet.
Ms. d’Alton’s students have received recognition, medals, awards, and national press coverage in competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix, and the American Ballet Competition. As Director of McAllen Ballet Studio, Ms. d’Alton served as a direct link to McAllen Ballet by providing pre-professional dancers to this growing company. In July 2006, her student, McAllen Ballet Apprentice, Meagan Finley, received critical acclaim for her performance in Ben Stevenson’s “Prelude” (Partnered by Daniel Sarabia – Miami City Ballet) in the International Stars of Cuban Ballet Gala at the Wortham Center, Houston. Ms. d’Alton is currently Co-director of International Ballet of Houston. Her dancers have performed as professional artists with companies such as BalletMet Columbus, Cincinnati Ballet, Louisville Ballet, Ballet Florida, and Ballet Austin II. In addition to coaching and working privately with dancers from all over Houston, she is a sought after teacher in the Houston area and is on the resident staff of Koenig Dance School in Spring, TX and Dance Expressions in Friendswood, TX. Her dancers are among the list of prize winners at competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) and New York City Dance Alliance (NYCDA). Two of Ms. d'Alton's dancers were invited to compete in the 2008 Rudolf Nureyev International Ballet Competition in Budapest, Hungary and were selected to compete in the 23rd International Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria. She most recently had a dancer invited to compete at the 37th Prix de Lausanne Competition, January 2009 in Switzerland.
In 2010 Mr. d'Alton will be a Guest Teacher at the Royal Ballet School (January), Stuttgart Ballet (March), and the Bulgarian National Ballet (March). In addition he will stage choreography for the Louisville Ballet Youth Ensemble and teach at Sarasota Ballet and Milwaukee Ballet.
Andee Champagne Wilson has been trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical/modern, pointe, character, and hip hop. She has been motivating children and passing along her love of dance since the age of 16. She has taught students ages 4 through adults in recreational and competitive classes at studios and private schools, after-school programs at day-cares, and for drill teams in the Houston area. Andee also teaches for Becky’s Academy of Dance in Katy.
As a member of the nationally ranked dance team, the “Rhythm Masters”, she won numerous awards for solo, duet/trio, and ensemble routines, as well as student choreography recognition. She received scholarships from Dance Educators of America, and “I Love Dance” Pageant and Dance Competition to study in New York and Las Vegas multiple times. She was also named Miss Teen Dance Educators of America when she was 13. Andee performed on the Riverwalk in San Antonio for the Pan American Student Forum, and also in the NFL Pro Bowl Halftime show and the NCAA Citrus Bowl Halftime show, as well as local parades. Her dance career has taken her to Dallas, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Nashville, New York, Orlando, and San Antonio. Andee has trained with Steven Boyd, Henry LeTang, Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Frank Hatchett, and others.
Andee’s choreography has won on the regional and national levels and has received entertainment, choreography, and overall high-point awards. She has also been honored with several Top Teacher acknowledgements. Her students have gone on to receive scholarships to pursue dance and study with the most famous names in the business
Andee has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston. Andee and her husband Mark have a son named Connor who was born in May of 2008.

Adrienne’s passion for dance started at age three and has been growing for over 20 years now. She is a native of Michigan and is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and musical theatre. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the prestigious Oklahoma City University and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Dance Management. While there Adrienne was a member of the world renowned American Spirit Dance Company under the direction of Jo Rowan. In addition to dance technique and a strong liberal arts foundation, OCU allowed Adrienne to study numerous other courses that can be applied “behind the scenes,” such as Choreography, Costuming, Lighting, Non-Profit Performing Arts, Dance History, and Fundraising. She has trained under Shelly Beech, Mark Taylor, Jo Rowan, Nikki Singer, Robert Reed, and has attended and participated in master classes taught by Rhonda Miller, Chris Dupree, Keith Clifton, Mandy Moore, Joe Tremaine, John Crutchman and many more.
Adrienne has been a dance instructor for over 10 years and continues her dance education by attending conventions and seminars every year. She is a member of the Texas Association Teachers of Dance and also teaches at Jana Brown’s Center Stage Dance. She is passionate about creating and fostering a love for dance within children. Adrienne’s hope is that her students leave her classes excited, confident, and instilled with not only a passion and love for dance, but also with confidence and grace in themselves.

Megan Anderson Has been instructing for over 2 years. Megan first started as an apprentice instructor more then 4 years ago and has also been an active company member for the Koenig Dance Co. During this time Megan received many high point and overall honors for solos and group dances competed with Koenig as well as earning her a scholarship opportunity with Hall of Fame.
Megan’s choreography has placed at competitions such as Nexstar during her first year of choreography.
Megan was an active member of the Klein Oak Dance company under the direction of Fayla Curry. Megan has also attended many national conventions and worked with well known dance professionals such as: Mandy Moore, Travis Wall, Doug Caldwell, Denise Wall, Lauren Adams, Nick Lazzerini to name of few.
Kristin Dvorak “K.LEE” started dancing at the age of three. She first trained at Theatre Under The Stars and then went on to taking jazz & ballet at Carolyn Roberts School of Dance. She spent 3 years as a Varsity member of her high school drill team at Tomball High School and 1 year as Varsity Captain. She has performed at Superbowl XXXVIII, Club Hush and Tejas Toyota Car Show. Kristin has danced professionally with Planet Funk and DivaByNature. She has choreographed for numerous competitions, drill teams and car shows. She has also danced at Fairfield dance center, and Marvelous Motion (So Real Cru). She has performed and trained with choreographers such as Tesia Truitt and Lindsay Slott of Distorted X and has taken classes and workshops from famous choreographer Wade Robson. She has choreographed a number of award winning solos, duets, and company routines. In her spare time she writes and performs her own songs and is in the process of recording her 1st album. Kristin has been teaching for 5 years now and has loved every minute of it! She has a 7 month old daughter she feels will surely share the same love for dance!
