Kristin Sharp, Studio Director
Kristin Sharp is the Studio Director and owner of Koenig School of dance. She is an award winning choreographer and began her
dance education at the age of three, studying ballet, tap, and jazz with both Joee Shapiro and Rebecca Vincent.
Because of her passion for dance, Kristin chose to continue her dance training in college. Following high school, she
attended Texas Tech University where she majored in Business Management and minored in Dance and Marketing. Here she
expanded her learning’s in Lyrical, street Jazz and Hip Hop. During her time in college Kristin was a dance instructor and
was given the opportunity to teach at numerous camps throughout Texas, where she was selected to be the first Dance
Director for a woman’s Christian organization in which she established the dance and music program. Kristin has served as a
judge for many competitions, selecting what she hopes to be the dancers of the future. Kristin has been an instructor for
more than 7 years, and has choreographed for many dance companies in both Houston and Lubbock.
Kristin has a heart for children and a passion for dance and this shines when working with children.
Kristin is very excited about the upcoming year.
Amy Murray, Company Director

Amy Murray is the Company Director for Koenig School of Dance. She began her dance education at the age of five,
studying classical ballet, tap, and jazz. Her interests and studies soon broadened to include pointe,
lyrical, and modern dance. Amy chose to continue her dance training in college. Following high school,
she auditioned for and became a member of the world famous Kilgore College Rangerettes.
After returning to Houston, Amy studied dance at Sam Houston State University, She then
attended the University of Houston. Amy has continuously taught dance for the past ten years at
various Houston dance studios and high schools and has thoroughly enjoyed the success that she has had working
with dance and drill team students. Her award-winning choreography is always in demand, and her students continue
to win awards at competitions. She has kept her dance skills fresh and her unique style current through continuous
training from studios throughout the Houston area and in New York as well as dance conventions across the U.S. Amy
is the former owner of Koenig school of Dance and we are extremely excited that
she will be with us this year, and years to come.
Casey Adkins, Instructor
Casey Paige Adkins began dancing with the Lone Star Ballet Dance Academy at the age of seven. She grew up taking classes in In 2006, Casey moved to Houston, Texas, and began to pursue a career in energy law. She is excited to be
classical ballet, lyrical ballet, musical theatre, and theatre. Casey attended West Texas A&M University where she danced a
nd acted principle roles in many productions. She also directed “Master Class.” While at West Texas, she taught for Lone
Star Ballet's Dance Academy and danced with the Lone Star Ballet. She graduated from West Texas in 2002 with her
degree in Theatre Performance. Upon graduation, Casey attended Texas Tech School of Law where she graduated in 2004,
with her Juris Doctorate . In law school, Casey continued to study and teach ballet. .

opportunity to work with such amazing students.
